    • DA in a bottle - Dyno Spectrum tuned McLaren 720S with nitrous runs 9.4@157 in Colorado elevation

Drag racing is all about density altitude and traction. Guys on the west coast are at a disadvantage in the density altitude (and often track prep) respect so why not level the playing field with nitrous? It is essentially density altitude in a bottle.

This is currently the world's most powerful McLaren 720S with a dyno of 1139 to the rear wheels as you saw last week.

It is running in Colorado though where the air is thin so the nitrous greatly helps with the trap speed and elapsed time:

It's definitely a nice sized shot to hit that trap speed although as a reminder the trap speed record on the platform is 159.55 miles per hour.

West coast guys definitely should consider a small bit of juice to balance out the DA disadvantage they are faced with.
